Visa Information

Citizens of Australia, Canada, China (including the Special Administrative Regions of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong and Macao), Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the USA  and nearly all countries Europe, do not require a visa to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan (up to 30 days).

Citizens of India, the Philippines, Taiwan and Myanmar are required to obtain an electronic visa (e-visa) in advance. 

An S-3 official visa to Uzbekistan is issued to foreign citizens arriving at the invitation of government agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This visa category falls under the "Official" (S) category and is issued based on an official petition from the host party through the Ministry of Foreign  Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Key aspects of the S-3 visa: 

Purpose: Working visits, meetings, and cooperation with government agencies.
Inviting party: Government agencies, ministries, and departments of Uzbekistan.
Process: An application and visa support are required, which are submitted to the Consular and Legal Department 
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.    Documents: A passport (valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires), 
a completed application form (available at evisa.mfa.uz)  and confirmation of the purpose of the visit are required.
